Thanks Julie  I will check it out  I live in Ohio and it has been quite a rainy season already so I know they are going to be bad this year!  I have already seen them hanging around my screen door.

HWF (aka HeartWorm Free) has been test studied for use as a heartworm preventative for 4 years now.  All of the study dogs live outdoors 24/7 and are tested for HW monthly.  Thus far, not a single dog has tested positive for heartworm while using the HWF  twice/day for the first 7 days of each month.  For the past 2 years, we have many clients using it as a preventative in heavy mosquito areas and none of have ever tested positive.  I still recommend, if going outdoors during heavy mosquito hours spraying with a good natural mosquito repellant – for both humans and animals.
