As much as I wish all the good things we do were a definite way to avoid cancer, it seems not. There are so many other insults in our environments that we can't possibly avoid. We do the best we can.
Hope you get good news once testing is done, but I do recommend for the Vascustatin. It's not an absolute, but it sure is something I would do again and again, in that situation.
