For those who feel an NSAID is the only choice, I would suggest considering Metacam. I feel it's a bit less risky than others like Deramaxx and Rimadyl. Only a bit.

And there are still some other choices. I got some Tramadol for Imzadi toward the end. The vet also recommended a natural anti-inflammatory, Flexile Rx.
