Holistic Pet Care

This was happening to my Winston. X-rays showed arthritis with
detraction of the bone and hip area. I gave in and started him on
rimadyl. He could not get up, could hardly so I felt the quality of
life was more important. My vet introduced me to Jeffrey for rehab for
Winston. Muscle is coming back, he is stronger, gets up and down and
bounces around the house. I am hoping that I can soon take him off the
meds, but if not, I have to consider the quality of life for my little
one. He doesn't even seem like the same dog. Pattie and the "Cocker

One of my Dals, Shadow, is having problems with his back legs; losing
strength. It looks like he is losing muscle mass and I'm wondering if
this
is Cushings. I'm not happy with any of the vets here and wanted to know
if
anyone has suggestions on what to look for or a group to join for
information. I want to be prepared before going to the vet because they
always suggest stuff like Rymadyl, Previcox, etc. and I don't want to
have
to make an expensive judgement call and find out when I get home that I
won't use the meds. Any help GREATLY APPRECIATED!
