Re: [HolisticPet] Broken ribs and bite wounds
:omeopathic remedies come in tiny pellets. You can get them at Whole Foods and similar stores. Dissolve 1 pellet in 4 ounces of distilled water and 1 teaspoon of grain alcohol to preserve it. Once the solution is ready, succuss (beat the bottle against the palm of you hand) 2 times, take 1 drop of the solution and add it to another 4 ounces of distilled water, and then give 1 teaspoon. I use the glass amber colored bottles with the dropper for the initial solution. You should consult a knowledgeable homeopath before giving these two remedies. You should never give two remedies at the same time. Some remedies can be alternated, and some cannot. A great homeopathic first aid book it Don Hamilton's Homeopathic Care for Dogs and Cats.

How would you give the ledum and the symphitum? She is about five pounds.

I was concentrating on the bones, for some reason. Was considering the
symphitum for help healing them specifically.

Actually, ledum is the best remedy for first aid bite wounds, but I am not
100% sure about the broken ribs. Poor thing.
