<<40+ years ago, I fed ~~ ok, you better sit down … you might also want a cool
rag to drape across your forehead ~~ Pedigree then eventually Kibbles 'n
Bits to the dogs, and Friskies to the cats, and I never heard of giving
supplements or homeopathy to pets, and every single one of them lived to be
geezers, and every one of them died from "natural" old age causes. And I
vaccinated for everything.

But every one of those pets *rarely* had to go to the vet.<<

 

Hear! Hear! Yes! My thoughts exactly! So I wonder........was the Pedigree made from somewhat better ingredients then as now? And didn't our pets spend more time outside then? My dog of the day spent all day outside with my kids. That rarely happens these days. Is it that we are more aware of disease now? Or is it like people; humans are seemingly full of one disease or another all the time. One in 10 has cancer?? or something like that. We've done it to ourselves. We've polluted the planet, chosen Wal-Mart (China) to save 3 cents, and have a TV in every room. I won't go into the GMO foods or the NAIS joke. Everywhere we look, there's a new catastrophe awaiting us. And how much of it was caused by the pharmaceuticals we use? Over use? Antibacterial soap anyone? We're killing ourselves and those of us who know better are trapped in a world run by politicians who know what's best for us. Guess they think those decisions won't affect them, their families or friends. As long as there's money involved, we, the people, loose. My rant will never be over.
