Sorry to hear about your doggie's cancer. My Gemma has had mammary gland tumors--she's had 2 removed so far and has a 3rd now. I've tried many things, obviously nothing has prevented them coming back. Did the Budwig protocol but after some time Gemma refused to eat it anymore. The blacksalve yahoo group had an herbal tonic that I used for a long time and her last tumor started while taking that. Essiac tea made her vomit; Oleander capsules made her sick and refuse to eat. Colostrum didn't seem to help; will start an IP6 regimen again because I have a bottle left over. Holistic vet gave us remedies to use before her second surgery--the tumor was self-encapsulated, possibly due to the remedies. High doses of Vit. C w/L-Arginine and L-Glutamine didn't help either. Something here may help your dog but it didn't help mine.

The vet I just recently took her to went to the Chi Institute and she will be giving us an herbal remedy called Stasis, which she said may help change the tumor/make it softer and possibly eliminate it. It's not expensive so i'll give it a shot. Honestly I'm so tired of getting my hopes raised to only have them crushed once again. After spending many hours researching different things and many dollars buying/trying them, I'm resigned to the fact that we're stuck with it. At 14 yrs. old, she's lived a good life and it's possible that her neurological issues will be a problem before the tumor.

Lots of luck with your dog. My holistic vet, who removed the second tumor, made us put off surgery for as long as possible (it grew to the size of a melon) because she says if you close one door to cancer, another one will open. I believe that chemo is tougher on a body and causes more problems. Quality of life is more important, IMO.
